More about my journey

After earning my medical degree from Stellenbosch University in 2008, I embarked on a journey through the diverse landscapes of primary care and obstetrics. Over the years, I found myself navigating the high-pressure environments of both public and private practice, where the demands often left me feeling disconnected from the deeper purpose that drew me to medicine in the first place and questioning my ability to be myself.

In 2012, I established Fx Health, an interdisciplinary practice dedicated to managing chronic back and neck pain. While building this practice from the ground up, I discovered something profound: the relentless pursuit of professional success often comes at the expense of our well-being, creativity, and authenticity.

I realised that many of us — especially women in medicine — are spinning through our careers, seeking validation and success yet longing for more peace, kindness, and genuine connection with ourselves. This led me to the world of Integral Coaching, where I completed my ICF-certified Integral Coaching Diploma at The Coaching Centre (TCC) in 2023 and became an active member of the International Coaching Federation.

Inspired by my own journey and the stories of others in medicine, I created this coaching space — one designed to be deeply supportive, practical, and expansive. My mission is to support doctors in navigating the complexities of their careers — whether that means reimagining your path, strengthening your leadership, or simply creating more space for yourself within your work.

Through our work together, you’ll find the tools to reconnect with your authenticity, aligning your career with the values that matter most to you. Because thriving in medicine isn’t just about surviving the day-to-day — it’s about reclaiming your sense of purpose and living it fully, both in and out of the workplace.
